Further on chigun - Remidies from traditional health care practices

Four cases of chican gunea (I never get the spell right) a.k.a chigun in the family and a month long ayurvedic medicine for preventive for self only strengthens my earlier comment. Almost every vernacular news paper has carried the ayurvedic and siddha medicine for chigun and a casual talk with a 'nattu marundhu kadai' indicates that the sale of the local medicine has increased since the advent of this disease.

The remedies are available, the allopaths are not willing to even talk about it (there is a case of an allopath reaching to an vaidya for his own cure) and our english language press cannot recognize science unless it is written in english for its consumption.

It is heartening to know that the knowledge and faith in the indigenous knowledge medicine is so widespread.
